Hello all!
Autumn, or fall as Americans like to call it, is beautiful. Even though it is colder than I prefer, I find the crusty leaves sensational. The trees begin to lose their beautiful green leaves and transform into deep oranges and dirty browns. It begins to get a little darker as the days go on, until, suddenly, the difference between day and night becomes a little confusing. I like to think of autumn as hoodie season. I enjoy wearing hoodies and sweaters without the need for a coat however, as time goes on, the need appears overwhelmingly. The snow in late November isn't exciting since it brings along the cold, dark mornings with it. September, though, is close to perfect.
My September wasn't very perfect, it was a rollercoaster. Let's reminisce together.
A far from calm morning after a chaotic night. I liked the view, though. The water brought a certain calm, which was what I needed after what I had experienced; a flood of overwhelming emotions, mainly anger.
These kitties were well aware of where they can stay and cuddle. It is impossible for a human to get here since it is all barricaded. How adorable.
I am well aware that this is illegal. I did not partake in this behaviour. I find graffiti very flattering and creative, however, which is why I decided to catch a picture of an artist in action.
Two absolute opposites. One, on the left, is a blunt, awkward, straightforward person. The other, on the right, is outgoing and fun. This can easily be told from their facial expressions. PS this is the first day they met. This was only one of many entertaining experiences at this concert.
My cat, intrigued, watching TV with me. I'm interested if he understands what is going on. He enjoys sitting there and watching, which is why I sit by the window with him sometimes. We both value one another's hobbies.
Lil Peep is an artist who I am very fond of. I took this picture mainly because of the word 'hope' with the smiley face in the middle of the 'o', a Lil Peep reference, one that cannot be missed.
On September 1st, my classmates and I attended a concert. At first, OG Version was performing, which I am not fond of whatsoever. Suddenly, techno music began to play on the opposite side of the road, which I rushed to and started dancing my heart out. Techno soothes the mind and soul.
Destris looks super funny here. He looks like a bat. The way he is posing is quite silly. Look at his paws, it is as if he has fingers.
Absolute chaos. The ones who don't sleep, or sleep less, are the strongest. We are strong. Zombies, yet strong.
I wish this photo came out better. I wish the moon was portrayed as it was in reality. It was beautiful. A perfect night with chill vibes and a wonderful view.
I sat in this gazebo with my ex, boyfriend at the time, about 3 times. Once, there were green lights on it. Now, the vibe is just green.
A scrumptious, filling meal on my grandmother's birthday. Of course, I got orange juice too.
I'm very proud of this picture. In the distance, you can see Zaliakalnio Christ's Resurrection Church. In the foreground, the fountains with the pretty, yellow lights. I couldn't miss the opportunity to take this picture because the fountains are turned off once it gets cold.
I was not pleased when I found a bone in the patty of my chicken burger. This is a scandal. An absolute disaster. A hazard. Plus, it is disgusting. I got my money back. By the way, this was at Burger King at Akropolis, Kaunas.
On the first day of my last year in school, I was pleased with my fit.
September had its ups and downs. I had some fun, some letdowns, and met some new people. Would I repeat September? I don't think so. It was too much of 'living in the moment' and not enough of 'working and hustling'. I'm now a changed person who believes in the power of self-growth, love, and care.
